Inspired by the poem written by activist Tamika Mallory and the song Mercy by Anthony Hamilton. Each word in the poem is written in his locks.

Are you on this frequency? His face is the song “My Country Tis of Thee” an American patriotic song, the lyrics of which were written by Samuel Francis Smith. The song served as one of the de facto national anthems of the United States. BUT aww W.E.B. Dubois also had his version.

My country tis of thee,
Late land of slavery,
Of thee, I sing.
Land where my father’s pride
Slept where my mother died,
From every mountainside
Let freedom ring!
